Position title: Security In-Charge
Position summary:
The security in charge will ensure the protection of the firm’s grounds, employees, guests, and possessions. They will be in charge of controlling the security force; implementing security procedures; dealing with emergencies; and contacting the police, if necessary.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Overseeing and managing the daily operations of security officers (guards/patrols/etc).
Formulating and executing security policies, procedures, and processes.
Coordinating with HR/Admin to regulate the entry and exit of visitors and employees.
Inspecting and reporting any suspicious conduct, incidents, or breaches.
Performing security exercises and employee training on a routine basis.
Maintaining incident logs, shift logs, and security checklists.
Suggesting changes that could improve physical security and reduce risks.
Job requirements:
We require JCO’s (Army retired) only.
Familiarity with security procedures, emergency response, and risk management.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Ability to react quickly and remain cool under pressure.
Physical fitness and vigilance.
Qualification and experience:
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent; minimum requirement; military or air force experience would be an advantage.
Certification in security administration or a related discipline is desired.
A minimum of three to five years of security-related experience; one to two years of which should have been in a supervisory position.
